Good Morning my Freaky Darlings... Last week I was engaged in a debate about YOU! It was long but I want to share what I said about you to the person who I was debating... We will call him KP. I was debating about how much I care about you and that I consider you a REAL friend. Im interested to know what you feel about the debate KP said: I hate to break it to you, but people that you only communicate with via Facebook are not your friends. Thats like saying youre friends with Howard Stern because youve called in to his show I replied: Hmmmm it is very different with my friends. At least half of them I socialize with because we live close enough to do so. Then there are the friends and family that live too far away that Im able to be in touch with every day because of Facebook. Then there are my friends who Ive never actually met in person before. I consider them friends and if they needed me I would get in the car and drive there and help them. I know them I know their families and when they request prayers I know their names and add them to my prayer list. Some of these friends whom I have never met we plan on meeting someday. I am sorry that you have had a less than pleasurable Facebook experience however for me it is helped the world become a much smaller place and help me stay in contact with those that I love and care about whether Ive met them in person or not! KPs reply: Its really misplaced to think that you love someone that youve never met. I really hope things get better for you, so that you can stop relying on the internet to validate yourself. I can see you also use religion as a crutch. That tells me a lot. It tells me that you want your imaginary friends to be there because you dont have any real friends. I know its tough to accept that youre stuck with the shitty life you have, but this is it. You got one chance and you squandered it to talk to people on the internet. So.....
