Good Morning my friends; Planned on writing a status update last night and been trying to work on the obit as well. :S Its not easy, my daughter is going to try and help me this afternoon with that, all I need is a draft and I know I can make it work from there. Feeling a bit stressed today. :S Yesterday I felt exhausted but made it through my day. It was a hard day, I met with all my siblings over at moms and I was happy that we all seemed to be on the same page. Of course, everyone is grieving so we are all just trying our best to give each other space and understanding. Its easy to step on toes and cause upsets when we are all hurting. I dont want to go there and am relieved my siblings dont want to either. As I said, I havent written the obit yet but will do that today and have it ready to put in the paper tomorrow.. hopefully the can put it in the paper same day, not sure, but I will go early in the morning with the hopes we can. So for all my friends who are wondering, moms service will be held on Friday, February 7th @ 3:00 pm at St. Annes Church on the Rez, we will have our feast there as well. I am feeling some disappointment with onwa right now. I tried calling them and left messages and have not heard back from them. Mom received Native Women of the Year award twice, once in the 70s and again in the 90s. The work she did with women and families is something that should be commended and honored. I didnt even get a returned phone call from them... :( So yeah, feeling upset with them for the moment. Anyways, got the vehicle running, I have a ton of things to do and get ready for. My daughters will be helping me today. Later this week we will have a crew coming over to moms to clean all her knic nacks and clothes, so we can bring them for the giveaway. We will also bring things like a walker and other devices that help people with mobility issues. So hopefully, they will find their way to someone who can really use them. Wishing everyone a great day filled with blessings and miracles and as always sending loads of love, light and prayers to everyone, everywhere.
