Good News! Following my post yesterday regarding the Trainee Paramedic who was seriously assaulted on Sunday, The North West Ambulance Service have confirmed he has been discharged from hospital and is recovering well. They have passed on our well wishes to him. Lancashire Police have also arrested and charged a 19 year-old male in connection with the assault. Lewis Westwood, from Leyland, has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, affray, criminal damage and breaching bail.
