Good News. God never give up on us and we need not give in to defeat and disappointments. Perhaps you are feeling down this morning, not willing to see all the good things God has done for you but only seeing your shut comings and the things left on done. Bills packed to be paid; school fees, car bills, child care, home care and the rest of them, but dont worry. I know many are at the crossroad this moment and are asking questions of God on one thing or the other concerning life issues. But surely there is hope. All these are just a test of faith. Instead of laying on the ground we should stand up and dust ourselves and remember we serve a God. Remember! an exit from somewhere is an entry to somewhere. Its been said that in every disadvantage there is a corresponding advantage. There is hop in every hopeless situation. There is a message in every mess. There is promotion after every examination. There. There are opportunities in every difficulty. There is a great grace awaiting you after every disgrace and that every setback is a set up for a spectacular comeback. You dont have to cry so much over your failures. It is reversible. That you mistakenly spilled the milk to the floor is not the end of life...as long as you still have the cow, you will make a better one. That you failed once, twice, thrice or many times is not enough to label you a failure. Its only the event that failed. You are not yet a failure until you admit it. Too many people cry too much about missed opportunities, failed plans and collapsed businesses to the extent that they close their eyes to new and better ideas. My dear, where you are right now is not your end stop...it is only a bus stop. Life is a journey and in every journey there is a bus stop were you alight and proceed further. Weeping may endure for a night but joy! great rejoicing comes in the morning. With positive mental attitude failure is a learning experience, a rung on the ladder, a plateau at which to get your thoughts in order and prepare to try again. God uses our failures to bring victories in our lives and glory to His name. Life is not fair. Sometimes there are bumbs in the road, obstacles and road blocks. It is not without challenges for everyone but its how we respond to the obstacles we face that determines where our lives go. My prayer has always been O! Lord, give me the heart strong enough to know when I am weak and brave enough to face my fears. It is not the critic who counts; not the person who points out how the strong stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit goes to the person who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat. Who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is no effort without error and short coming; but who does actually strive to do the deed, who knows the great enthusiasm and devotion, who spends himself/herself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the truimph of high achievement and who at the worst if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his/her place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knows neither victory nor defeat. As soon as you concern yourself with the good and bad of your fellows, you creat an opening in your heart for maliciousness to enter. Testing, competing with, and criticizing others weakens and defeat you. So be strong and do exploit because the God you serve is a living God. The children of a bread baker can never lack bread. How much more of your father God which is in heaven. He is the bride and the groom. The beginning and the end. The problem with us is that so many of us go to church every sunday and say; Our father whom at in heaven and go home acting like orphans. Succeed and reach your goals.
