Good News. In regards to the lawsuit filed by AG Scott Pruitt against Colorado and their recent drug law has received criticism from numerous Oklahoman legislatures such as Rep. Mike Ritz, who states that, This is about the right of states to govern themselves as they see fit. If the Supreme Court can force Colorado to criminalize a substance...and commender state resources to enforce extra-constitutional federal statutes, then it can essentially do anything, and states become mere administrative units for Washington D.C. Not only is AG Scott Pruitt attempting to hinder states rights by enacting this lawsuit, but this is also a gross misuse of funds that could be used on more important things which could actually benefit Oklahoma. Instead of complaining about the plants in Colorados lawn, we should be taking care of our own lawn.
