Good News for FAPUASA Sindh Chapter: HEC writes Letter to Sindh Governor on NOC issue Dear All, In an email on Wednesday July 16, HEC informed us that it has written a letter to Sindh Governor for delegating the authority for issuance of NOC for travel abroad in favor of faculty and non-faculty academic staff of the University to respective Vice Chancellor vide letter No.101/A&C/HEC/2010/628 dated July 15, 2014. We have asked HEC to provide us scan copy of this letter which will be shared here. Now we have to approach Sindh Governor to delegate this authority as per recommendations of HEC. In this regard I suggest Dr Usman Ali Shah and Moiz Khan (Sindh Chapter) to issue a press-release in appreciation of HEC and demand the Sindh Governor to honor this recommendation and issue directives for delegation of powers of NOC to VCs. If needed we could also arrange meeting at Governor House to discuss and get this issue resolved on priority basis. PS1: Please note that as per HEC commitment with FAPUASA, the above letter was to be written in one week time but it has been written now after a delay of around 3.5 months!
