Good Night world. I know its early, but I want to spend the rest of the night relaxing with my wife and unborn child. Though the sun has not even set yet, I wish to put my mind to rest so I am prepared for tomorrow when I take David over to CMH to seek answers for David, and hopefully some help. Since I have always had the VA to go to I dont know how the government systems work. Well Im about to learn. Im nervous about it because I so dearly want to get David ALL the help that is out there for him. I feel good in the knowledge that Corey is completely moved in and not wanting for more than anyone else at this point. A decent job and a chance to support his family, and good friends he can trust. Trust has been on my mind a lot lately, who can I trust, who cant I. Trust is not always something that is initially earned. We all give some measure of trust to total strangers. We dont however leave our purse in the shopping cart or in our car. We turn our back on strangers but we dont invite them into our homes. We drive at deadly speeds only a few feet away from people we dont know, trusting they have some modicum of experience and reliability. We put trust in total strangers in 100s of ways every day but sometimes we with hold it from friends and loved ones. Trust isnt always earned but its a lot easier to not trust someone who has shown they are not worthy of it at all. For those people trust must be earned, if it can ever be. The Lord says trust in me, and we sometimes give him less trust than the drunk driver next to you. While trusting in the Lord is wise, so is not leaving your purse in your cart. Part of his trust is trusting him to give you the wisdom to know who to trust. My prayer for the night is that David gets the help he needs. That Corey embarks wholeheartedly into trying to obtain employment. That my friends have a restful Sunday before Monday comes again. That those that you care for gain health and happiness. I pray that we all find a closeness with God and his wisdom. Psalm 143:7,8 7 Answer me quickly, Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit. 8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.
