Good Saturday morning from Davie Fl. We are well into October and except for a 2 day reprieve the abusive heat continues. rainy season has slowing down and it seems our dry season is beginning. We had a very busy Wednesday with lots of beautiful trees finding new homes, thanks to all who came by. We are well on our way to planting out our newly cleared area and hope to be finished in the next couple of weeks as space is rapidly diminishing. We have Miguel Avocado available this weekend for those who want to taste one of the best mid season avocados South Fl has to offer. Fruit wise we also have some Dragon fruit and Starfruit available. Last week we spoke about some disturbing claims being made by a few sellers in farmers markets as to falsifying claims of where their fruit and produce is coming from, we have learned that California is really cracking down on this deception and trying to follow New Yorks example. New York regularly sends inspectors out to farms to see if they are actually growing what they sell. As always buyer beware, by from known local sources. Today we will OPEN at 10 am and have a great selection of tropical fruit trees. Hope everyone has a great weekend and hope to see some of you stop by.
