Good Sportsmanship - Our softball team has several pitchers...that rarely make it to a game, so we end up with non-pitchers just trying to hit the plate (slow-pitch). - First: I want to mention Jalen Ferris, who is one of our best all-around players already. He does most of our pitching, and does a really good job for someone with almost no experience. Thanks for being willing, trying so hard, and always doing your best! - Second: Tonight, when Jalen was having a rough night, I stepped in to help out pitching. Im not as good as he usually is, but I found a groove that worked for me, and did a decent job. Matthew A Carter was the main pitcher for the team we played against, and hes a pretty darn good pitcher. Now, its one thing that their whole team was trying to hit our bad pitches, and not just taking every walk they could. However, I was really impressed when Matt actually gave me some tips that seriously helped me out. He could have enjoyed the advantage and run up the score, but instead he helped us out so everybody could have a good time. THAT is Good Sportsmanship! Thank you Matt! You represented Christ especially well tonight!
