Good Sunday Morning East Texas! Praying for rain is what we are all doing. A tropical wave is going to move into Texas this afternoon giving some heavy rain near the Texas coast. We have a 20% chance for a few showers or storms by this evening, but the heaviest will be in southeast Texas. Monday is the same as we have a 20% chance for a few showers and storms, but the most significant rains will be around the Houston area. Tuesday through next weekend the heat will be cranking up as well as the humidity. Highs will range 95 to 99 with the heat index being between 102 and 105 each afternoon. :(
