Good Sunday morning to you. Wanted to share ... The 3 Gardens of Christianity with you. In the GARDEN OF EDEN God told Adam. In the day you eat the fruit...ye shall surely die. I believe that by eating the fruit..TWO DEATHS entered the world: Physical Death... of the body. SpiritualDeath..... separation from God. God knew this would happen and PLANNED for it. He foreordained Christ to come to earth and REDEEM mankind from these 2 deaths before the foundation of the world. (1 Peter 1:18-20) As children of Adam..we inherit MORTALITY and will ALL DIE through no fault of our own. (1 Corinthians 15:22) As children of Adam we are also blessed with the gift of AGENCY..the God given gift to CHOOSE our path. Through the gift of agency..as we become accountable for our actions...around the age of 8...we ALL WILL CHOOSE to stray from Gods will...SIN...in one degree or another and suffer SPIRITUAL DEATH. (Romans 3:23/ 1 John 1:8) Because of GODS LOVE FOR US...he sent His Only Begotten Son to redeem us. And He came because HE LOVES US. (John 3:16) In order to enable us to overcome spiritual death..Christ suffered in the GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE and bled from every pore in EXTREME AGONY as he somehow incomprehensibly paid for OUR SINS as he took OUR SINS upon His SINLESS SELF...as if they were His own...and then GAVE HIS LIFE on the cross to seal the deal! IF WE ACCEPT HIS OFFERING...and repent...and strive to follow him....we can overcome SPIRITUAL DEATH through this miraculous gift! The third garden is the GARDEN OF THE OPEN TOMB. After He gave His life on the cross...His friends took His physical remains and laid them in a rock hewn tomb. And ON THE THIRD DAY HE ROSE AGAIN!! Just. As. Foretold!! By Him and many many prophets and apostles. (1 Corinthians 15:21-22 / Luke 24:36-43) The physical resurrection is s free gift to all of us as a result of this 2nd miraculous gift! We did nothing to cause our physical death and will all LIVE AGAIN IN THE FLESH after this life because Christ carried out the will of the Father with perfection. (Job 19:25-26) WHERE we live and HOW we live will depend on what we do with the above information. #oneDAYatAtime #evenBABYstepsAREsteps John 14:6 believe it.
