Good Thursday Morning, Being Human Some days you have it, and - TopicsExpress

Good Thursday Morning, Being Human Some days you have it, and other days, it has you. We all have had those days where it seemed like, from the moment your feet hit the floor, you were in a fight. And it continued all day. But then there are those days, that seem to lay out the red carpet, and everything is there before you even realize you need it. But no matter how we label it, good, bad, right, wrong, fair, unfair, everyday life is teaching us a lesson. And the lessons never quit. No matter how successful or unsuccessful you feel you are, there is always something new to learn, a new perspective from which to approach a problem, a different twist on the same old thing. Some of us are fighters and some of us are lovers. Some of us share, while others take. But we all want to be appreciated, we all want to be in control, and we all want to feel safe, to one degree or another. So we use our experiences to carve out an existence that provides an acceptable level of each, and create our comfort zone. Then we look around and compare ourselves with others, and we become judgmental, and jealous, and dissatisfied. But if we would only look inside, we would see that we have the power to overcome any situation and accomplish any goal we want, if it is important and valuable enough to us. When we are aware of our power, the days we have to fight become a challenge, not an insurmountable problem. The bad becomes an indicator of where to find the good. And those good days, they are the time to strengthen your beliefs, to increase your goals and stretch your limitations. Being human is all about getting what you want in an acceptable, controlled, and safe fashion. What do you really want? What do you think? What action will you take?
