Good Thursday morning, Hopkins County area......a warm 75 degrees at my house this morning, expect another warm day with an afternoon high of 91 degrees, under sunny skies, and a low tonight in the lower 70s....June has definitely arrived with warmer temperatures.....hit the lake or at least some place in the shade....I received word from a couple of boys from Hopkins County working in Kermit, Tx and from my brother-in-law in Muleshoe, where it was 110 degrees yesterday......its going to be hot for a while!......A busy day on Wednesday with a variety of news here in Hopkins County, some good news and some not so good!.....Enjoyed a great evening with family and managed to spoil some kids pretty good, before they left to go to back home to Sulphur Springs and Muleshoe.....thats whats so good, you can spoil them and get them all worked up and then send them back home!....Its so much fun!....A busy day today and the last day of school for many, many of the kids in Hopkins County....enjoy a safe and fun summer!.......This morning I was drawn to the Apostle Pauls letter to the Romans, chapter 8, verses 38 & 39.... I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord......Paul tells us that this old world is a challenging place....but that the Love of God will see us through any of those challenges and that regardless of what happens in this old wicked world, God will be there to protect, keep, and do what is best for us, when were His children and depend on Him for our strength! God is good and promises to keep those that love Him. On this blessed June day enjoy the creation of the Father and depend on Him to see you through any and all challenges! Have a blessed day!
