Good Thursday morning everyone. We have a steady stream of moisture moving through Arizona at the moment. Showers will continue through the morning hours with a few isolated showers and maybe even a few storms possible to our North. #azwx Meanwhile the messy wet and icy conditions continue for the Northwest part of the country as more moisture adds to the rainfall totals through parts of Western Oregon and Washington. Wintry weather continues to fall in the higher elevations and down across parts of the Rockies. Rain and more rain will be possible today across the Central and Southern Plains and into the Ohio Valley. Despite all the rainfall that has fallen over much of the drought stricken California, more rain is needed throughout to have any long term impacts. NOAAs National Climate Data Center has come up with a graphic showing around how much rain it would take to end the current drought in California and other regions suffering from drought conditions.
