Good Tuesday Morning! Today we learn the purpose of suffering. As we read in the book of James, we are reminded of Job and we.learn that to swear means that the last answer was.wrong... Please dont mistake this Swear with using curse words; this is used in the example of a yes is a yes and a no is a no... lets not put the I swear! In there. Your answer should be your answer, no more true is the truth than the truth. James 5:11-12, 16 ESV Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful. But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
