Good Tuesday Morning.... *Wintry Mix for Wednesday Morning Commute* *Sleet, Rain and Snow 4am to 10am* *Warming over the Weekend* DETAILS – Clouds will be with us to day and it will be a chilly an breezy day with highs in the upper 30s to near 40 this morning, but look for those temperatures to fall during the day and by the evening commute will be back in the lower 30s. Cloudy skies will be with us tonight as a weather system slides up from the south and hugs the east coast. This system will bring some sleet, rain and snow into central Virginia from 4am through 10am. This wintry weather will impact your morning commute for all of the 8News viewing area and could delay some schools. We are not anticipating any significant accumulations of ice or snow, but due to the timing the lightest glaze or covering on the roads will have a significant impact on your morning commute. During Wednesday afternoon that system will slide off shore to the east but the clouds will remain with highs in the middle 30s. The sunshine will return during Thursday with highs in the lower 40s. Partly to mostly sunny skies will be over central Virginia with highs ranging from the lower 50s on Friday to the upper 50s by Sunday.
