Good Tuesday morning Weather Watchers!! Models are coming - TopicsExpress

Good Tuesday morning Weather Watchers!! Models are coming together on a solution for this weekends storm system. The storm has trended back North where we are gaining confidence in its track. As the system takes shape we will be under the influence of a ridge or area of High pressure - allowing temps to warm ahead of the storm--this will allow lots of moisture to stream North from the Gulf of Mexico so when the storm begins to affect our area by Saturday it will have lots of moisture to work with. All this moisture will allow for clouds and fog to form beginning tonight through Thursday- scattered in Western section- more widespread in the Eastern 2/3rds of the State. There is a SLIGHT chance for drizzle tonight - IF it develops, temperatures in Central KS could be at or just below freezing - so we do need to mention a SLIGHT chance of freezing drizzle. This storm will be a negatively tilted storm- remember what that means? Additionally, do you remember what happens on the L and R side of the storm??? Help us remember and Im sure we can make up from our little trick we pulled yesterday -AGAIN- help understand the storm dynamics on the L and R sides of the storm. Many are asking about snow- this storm could produce a little snow on its back side. Overall, this will most likely be a storm that gives many of us is a nice soaking- maybe even a few Thunderstorms ( non severe ). If you have any questions, let us know.
