Good advice from the desk of my pastor: “Remember the word - TopicsExpress

Good advice from the desk of my pastor: “Remember the word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for Thy word hath quickened me.”” (Psalm 119: 49-50). The life that is in me today is because the Word of the Lord has quickened me. I think of how the Word of the Lord always is fresh and new to me every time I read it, and it reminds me that God is my life and my hope. Whatever you face today, I know that the Word of the Lord has an answer for you, what we must do is allow the Holy Spirit to remind us of that Word. Comfort comes as we the people of God are reminded of His promises. I get into trouble when I forget what the Words says, when my eyes are focused on the problems instead of the solutions. And folks I have found that there is no solutions in this world, but the answers come from the Lord. I must confess my weakness before God and you, but I must find my strength in the Word of the Lord. God is good and faithful to always speak to our need, what we must do is listen and allow the Words He speaks change us into what He wants us to be. Men words don’t always edify, but Praise the Name of Jesus He always speaks to build us up for His glory. Out of the mouth of babes, yesterday a dad shared that his son told him not to worry about the weather because he had already prayed. Lord ain’t that the truth! Bro. Cliff
