Good afternoon, I hope everyone has had a good day so far....I had the pleasure to talk to a man from western Africa today. I asked him about the Islamic terrorists and what he thought about them and he told me most of them know nothing about the Koran or any of its teachings. He said most of them come from Libya and Northern Africa but care nothing about Allah (God) but are just money hungry terrorists. He is a Christian and had no problems with Muslims...just the terrorists...he also went on to talk about the colonialism mentality that a lot of western nations still have towards the African continent...and the fact that Africans had their own religions and traditions before Christianity and still do. I guess I say all that to say...talk to people that have a different perspective and have lived through some of the things that we can only speculate and conjecture about...you hear someone speaking in a different accent ask them where they are from and about their life experiences...real communication is one of the best ways to get to know about life on the other side of the "tracks" not some..have a good evening everyone...hope all your kiddies had a good 1st day of school and have a great, enriching and productive school year
