Good afternoon, NCA Families! Mrs. Phillips 2nd Grade is having all kinds of fun this year! Today, during lunchtime, their classroom turned into the first Thanksgiving feast, complete with pilgrims and native americans! The feast consisted of some delicious (and possibly authentic) food - to remember the first Thanksgiving table. The food included: venison, duck, corn, homemade bread - and then more traditional items, such as: cornbread, mashed potatoes, rice, and even some pumpkin pies (or as the class called them, Mayflowers because they had tiny toothpick ship sales mounted on them)!
