Good afternoon Spartans . We are back with another installment of the Athlete zone . Alysha Collett is our Athlete today , and we are focusing on anti rotation muscles . These muscles are very important and quite often overlooked especially in the athlete world , where all time and focus goes into the power pushing muscles in an attempt to increase athleticism. How ever, if the opposing muscle groups dont match the strength of the pushing muscles then you have an unbalanced athlete . Replicating alyshas common movement pattern of her sport for specificity and functional carry over , we are able to work her entire body the way it would be when competing on a horse . These anti rotation muscles help keep you balanced and in proper posture , correcting any movement that might potentially throw you of balance . Making for a stronger more agile athlete that can continue to use their raw power without worries of throwing themselves off balance . Mitch.
