Good afternoon, Stage 2 of the Airport Terminal Renovations are almost finished. This week Jaxon contractors will complete the installation of the bi-fold doors between lounges 1 and 2, this door will be used to cater for domestic and international security arrangements once we are under the new arrangements. The trellis door near screening has also been installed and is looking very elegant and secure! The shade umbrellas were installed on the light poles in the verge garden area last week by Winfield Constructions, making it nice and pleasant for people waiting in that area. As most business have shut down for the Christmas period this ends the extent of work we’re able to do until the new year, Jaxon Constructions will be closed down during the Christmas period as of the 19th December and recommencing works in the Airport on Monday 12th January. I’d like to thank all the contractors that have been working on the Airport Renovations over the last few months, they have been doing a fantastic job working under the strict conditions of an Airport! This will be the last weekly update for this year, we appreciate everyone’s patience over the last few months with putting up with contractors and delays. We hope that everyone has a great Christmas and New Year.
