Good afternoon everybody!! I have finally decided what my 1st BIG Community Service Project will be. I am copying a couple from Washington State with this idea. I am going to make back packs for the homeless. Total cost of each backpack filled is $20. I am going to start collecting the following items until the beginning of November. I will also have a booth at the standpipe festival (I hope) where you will be able to drop of donations or monetary donations (all will go towards the backpack project). I have also attached a link to the video where we got this idea. If you dont have the time but would like to participate by making an item donation or monetary donation please contact my mom or dad or through this page. We will be happy to come collect from you! Items needed: Towel/wash cloth, bar of soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, brush/comb, fingernail clippers, backpacks (new or used) as long as they are in decent shape to close, canned meats, granola bars, hard candy, crackers, PEANUT BUTTER (important), small juices, bottles water, etc....
