Good afternoon everyone, As you may have seen, on 2/7/14 new security requirements were introduced at some UK airports. These measures have since been extended, affecting all flights in and out of the UK. As we currently have many passengers travelling on fly-cruises, we wanted to offer some travel advice in order to help all passengers have a safe and stress-free flight. The Department for Transport has advised that all passengers ensure that any electronic devices taken on board a flight in hand luggage, are fully charged before departing from home and on their return journey. If you are unable to demonstrate that your phone or other electronic device can be switched on, you risk having the device confiscated at the airport which could also result in you missing your flight. Passengers are also advised to switch on their electronic devices before they reach the security check areas to cut down on potential delays.
