Good afternoon everyone. Well, I survived yesterday and it was amazing! It really was one of the most motivating and inspirational days I have ever been part of. I am beyond excited to be on this journey of health with each of you and with so many others. During my session yesterday I had the chance to hear from one women, 55 years old who has lost 165 pounds in only 10 months by simply committing to the 21 Day Fix and Shakeology. Her story brought tears to my eyes. It was so inspiring to see someones life completely change, their will to live be restored by learning to simply living a healthy lifestyle. She just glowed from pride, and that she should! Another man I heard from has lost 325 pounds over 3 years with Insanity, T25 and Shakeology and he was 61!! I had the chance to workout next to him during the live session and he was doing amazing! The final story I heard was about a young single mom who turned to Beachbody and the Insanity Program to stay sober and now is going on 18 months sober and looks great! In addition, to some amazing transformation stories I also had the chance to hear from some of the nations top Beachbody coaches and hear how they have helped change the lives of so many people including their own lives. One coach (a former teacher) shared how her and her husband were living paycheck to paycheck, always worried about the next bill. She had battled with anorexia and bulimia in the past and knew she needed to restore her body from the years of damage she had caused. So she sold a few things on Craigs List to get enough money to buy a challenge pack and sign up as a coach. Just two years later she is now a top coach, living a healthy lifestyle the right was and just this summer brought her husband home full time with her due to her success. Finally, the live workout. I honestly dont know if I have ever mentally been pushed harder. Shaun T asked us before the workout to begin to just think of that one move that we absolutely hate and imagine yourself doing it perfect. Well guess what that move for me... high knees! So during the workout when we were on round 3, minute 3....yes minute 3 of high knees and I thought there is no way in ______ that i can keep doing! Just then Shaun T got in my face and pushed me to finish strong! Then he gave me a high 5!!! It was awesome and I will never fail on high knees again! It truly was a killer 60 minute workout but so awesome to be part of. He talked to us for an hour after and I have so much to share with you all week about the nuggets I took away from that talk. The first take away I wanted to share is in this video. It is so true. Its about taking care of you first because without you, nobody else can enjoy you. So stay committed to you!!!
