Good afternoon fans, Cold weather continues to settle back into the bluegrass state as we get ready to say hello to a brand new year. Temps tonight will drop into the low and middle 20s for many areas with partly to mostly cloudy skies.Far eastern and southeastern Kentucky could pick up on period of light snow and flurries to into Tuesday morning.The rest of the region will feature partly cloudy skies with highs in the 30s.New Years Eve looks to be dry with temps in the upper teens and low 20s as the ball drops on 2015. The first day of the new year will be sunny with highs in the 30s.A stormy system may bring a mix of precipitation our way Friday into the weekend. Enjoy the rest of your day and take care!!!
