Good afternoon people of the whole world! Today is an important day in our salvation history..it is the birthday of our beloved Mama Mary, the Mother of Jesus, the Mother of the Church and the Mother of all Christians. I attended the twelve pm mass and was fortunate to have Fr. Boja as the officiating priest, who is a very powerful speaker and homilist... His homily started with a letter of a little boy named John to his Mother Lucy. It read: Dear Mommy, Please take note of the following charges: For doing the dishes - ten pesos For scrubbing the floor - ten pesos For cleaning the backyard- ten pesos For throwing the garbage- ten pesos Total Php 40.00 Love, John Mom replied with another letter. It read: Dear John, For keeping you in my womb for nine long months NO CHARGE For feeding you when you cry even during sleeping hours NO CHARGE For sending you to school daily NO CHARGE For picking you up from school daily NO CHARGE For working just so I can give you allowance and food NO CHARGE Total LOVE...No charges Mommy Lucy Mama Mary, is more than that. Her love for all of us is beyond bounds...unconditional...unending..until now, she is there, always praying and interceding for us..that is why we pay honor and homage to her now in this special day. Happy, Happy birthday Mother Mary....Pray for us and protect us always..In Jesus Name. Amen!
