Good afternoon to all from Jim and Diane from Signature Health - TopicsExpress

Good afternoon to all from Jim and Diane from Signature Health Care in Cleveland . I have been lax in posting recently. We went to surgeon last week and he told us Jim was a miracle to have survived all the internal injuries he sustained. He told us Jim looked really good. He wants to plan a surgery to pull muscles over his abdomen in about a year . He wants Jim to be completely healed and walking very well. He said the repair surgery was very dangerous and very long to perform. Today we went back to the orthopedist to have X-rays and be checked . The bones have healed very well with all the pins and plates, screws and rods in ankles, knees and left femur and hip. Jim can now be barefooted in bed and not wear brace in bed at all. He can now wear tennis shoe on right foot. We have appointments to go back in 3 months. Well the big move has been accomplished! Thanks be to God for good friends!! On Saturday I had 8 people come from work and husbands, and grown children and we were going to move boxes and clothes only. We got those things loaded on trailer and my friends said we think we can get this! So they started carrying furniture down the stairs. Much easier to carry into new apartment on ground level. We were finished by 2:30 and we had stopped for lunch. We were moving on!!! On Sunday my kids , grand kids and friends totally 15 people started unpacking boxes and hooking electronics up and anything that needed to be done! On both days when we finished we came to see Jim which thrilled him. He is so lonely here between therapies and loves to see people! So I have been emptying boxes and hauling them to dumpster as fast as I can. I am also taking loads to goodwill as I clean closets and weed out no use items. I Really like the new apartment and am looking forward to getting jim home too! Please pray for his strength to increase and his continued improvement. Please pray for Jims Mom too she is battling illness too! Thank you for all the cards, visits, phone calls, comments on Facebook . But most of all we are thankful to serve a living God who touches hearts and leads them to pray for others! Thank you for each prayer that has been breathed! Til next time. Diane
