Good afternoon to all the peeps out in Larkin Land Today is the day that we vote for the center fielder on the ALL LARKIN team if you thought that left field was hard let me give you just a small sampling of some of the names to choose from. This is far from all there is to pick from but there are going to be some mighty tough choices out there. But I know thru thourough investigation and research help provided by the administration board we will come to a satisfactory conclusion one that will promote baseball and its history which was the goal at the outset. So without any further ado here is a partial list of possible candidates for one of the most prestigious positions in sports a membership on the ALL LARKIN team Ty Cobb, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Tris Speaker, Ken Griffey Jr. I also would like to add the following. I know these four may not get the votes because a lot of people have not heard of them but if you read into the history of baseball especially the Negro Leagues you will see these four men were some of the finest ballplayers who ever lived and they are Oscar Charleston, Norman "Turkey Stearnes, Cristobal Torriente and my own personal favorite James "Cool Papa" Bell. Thru prejudice and bigotry these four were denied the chance to showcase their talents thruout the baseball words and my friends that is a crying shame. Anyways the polls are open and lets see who receives the honor of election to the ALL LARKIN team for centerfield and also tell your friends that they can vote to lets see how big we can make this
