With a greater majority after the 2014 election, Boehner doesnt need the Conservative Republicans so much to do his bidding and they were the ones who tried to depose Boehner. I think that we should consider building a Conservative Party. Members could caucus with Republicans but would have to trade coalition votes for committee assignments. This would be the best chance of securing a pocket of Safety for the Constitution. Here the internal political forces would protect the Conservatives who protect the Constitution. A Conservative Party must grow, and outside that circle neither the Republicans nor Democrats protect the Constitution. The republican power structure does not think that Conservatives are needed and thus Conservatives are under attack by the establishment. We are at war.
