Good, beautiful morning, dear children of Merciful Love. Sometimes, we wonder how God can be so patient, how He can forgive so much and put so many offences behind Him, like they never happened. The truth is that just as His love is eternal and impenetrable, even so is His wisdom. Precisely because He knows us intimately, because He sees the very depths of our hearts, and more than anyone else, understands the motives for our actions, our weakness and frailty, He is more than prepared to cut us some slack. Unfortunately, the same is just the opposite for us. The more we know, the more we hold a grudge! Truth is that many of those who offend us are simply misguided. In every mans opinion, he is doing the right thing. St. Paul thought so, and so did St. Martha. One can be wrong, so very wrong, but o, so sincerely wrong! Even heretics hearts burn with passion for what they believe is the True Faith! Think of whats going on in the Middle East. Think of all those Muslims who are convinced they are doing God a favour by killing Christians. What would they not do for God if they knew the Truth? Today, i encourage us to ask God for divine wisdom to discern His will and do it in order that our work may not suffer the tragedy of being beautifully done, but all done in vain, and for the grace to see people as He sees them and extend to them, the same patience He never tires of showing us.
