Good chilly morning everyone. Long discussion because I included my work at CTDEEP. A little bit of a rant on it. Anyway enjoy the weekend.. Warm regards to everyone!! Thanks...Sam Sampieri Been working 6 days a week for the last 6 weeks with 2 jobs. At CTDEEP during the weekdays. Able to get air modeling complete to show attainment of air quality standard for SO2. However EPA slow to reconize that. A lot of rules and regs that are overbearing and bogs down trying to attain good air quality. It is too bad that industry fights states and EPA tooth and nail. Unfortunately, Congress set up the clean air act to allow industry and the environemtal groups to sue EPA to slow the process down. Courts intervene. What is worse, EPA does NOT have an even playing field. It allow states to be more stringent than others which causes neighboring states to point the figure at each other when the air quality standards are in non-attainment. NOT GOOD. This weekend, switching to Sunday morning with radio and TV FOXCT beginning at 6AM... Quiet weather through middle of next week. Dry spell will come to an end by Halloween and the first week of November with rain, temps will be cool until then. But then warmer than normal with the rain as storm track to the west. The Rockies and upper plains states could get cold and snowy. This could be a classic November where the east is warm to start and cools as the west is cold and snowy.
