Good day my fellow Liverpool supporters. A moment of silence to the loss of once a European power in the eyes of the Elite clubs like Real Madrid, need not to mention more. But take time to make a joyful noise for the resilience Liverpools young squad showed against a mighty, technically sound, star studded Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernebeau. Great defensive ability by Liverpool. The guys worked together to stop Real Madrid score more than what Liverpool could have deserved. whilst on the matter there are notable individuals that played a huge part. Kolo Toure did well to stop Ronaldo. A true commander, who commanded the dfense very well. The Ivorian Center half played with ease, with passion and for a player of his age he was on point. He showed qualities of experience and my opinion will be to play him more often. Rotate Lovren and Skrtel. Simon Mignolet, it has truly been a while since I last saw the Belgian show some remarkable saves and in such dazzling form. His position was good and ball distribution was spot on. A consistent performance expected. Skrtel had his times of brilliance and his moments of mediocrity and almost cost us the game further. Moreno, left me breathless. his forward runs and back runs are amazing. A good buy by rodgers. I could say the same about manquillo. But the overall team performance was sublime, applaud-able. a good team selection by Rodgers. He needs to play Can more, he has great defensive abilities. But one thing I noticed is lack of speed when attacking and the players in the Midfield take soo much time to release the ball and eventually lose it. Its a bag of mixed feelings...YNWA
