Good day my friends and peeps. Not good news from my Dr. I saw my Dr. Skilley a plastic surgeon, yesterday. The same one who removed the growth prior.. Prior to my appointment with him his office arranged for me to have yet another MRI, I had one 3 weeks ago, nonetheless my Dr. wanted one that was current as the day. The news Dr Skilley gave me was not good at all. The MRI showed the new growth they saw 3 weeks ago had doubled in size and this is on my ankle, as well as there was another new growth in my upper calf between my shin and calf, there were also 2 more shadows, Dr said they were looking to be new growth as well. Surgery must be asap!! Dr said. I have it Oct 8 at 9 am I am also on a cancelation list. When Mom and saw my Dr. Hammond, my radiologist oncologist the first time, told us this cancer is very aggressive. This has proved to be correct in my case. By the time I got home exhausted, I called my Mom, told her the news, I cried from anger, frustration and down right exhaustion. Many friends called emailed etc. as to my news. Today I have accepted it is what it is I cannot change it no matter how much I cry or get angry...it does no good!! So today I am grateful I woke to see another day.
