Good day today. Watched a program called Jeevana Yagam on Maa TV. Daily, Sri. Garikapati NarasimhA rao gAru speaks on various issues/problems of today and what our culture, scriptures talk about the solution, adjustments, remedies etc, mostly through telugu padyams or samskRta-subhAshitams as well. Todays topic was udyogam mArAlsi vaste (i.e. if you have to change the job.) His summary/recommendation is We dont change relationshps. We are born into them or married to them. So, is employment. This easiness towards breaking relationships is the main problem for divorces, job changes etc. If an employee looks out for a higher paying job and leaves this employer, why should an employer not look out for someone who can do the same job cheaper and so fire this employee? This is the current thought process from the west. I remember old time, some of my economically weak, but at the same time not so talented as well uncles and relatives who have worked with one kirana shop owner, one cloth mechant throughout their life even though they were not happy with him. He quoted one padyam, which is a translation of a samskRta-shlokam from bhAmA vilAsam in which a deer thinks that this jungle get fire often, arrows anytime from hunters, and predators anyways. Look at that moon, it is cool, quite. I wish I can go there and live happily. Siva who is mRga-dhara (holds deer in one of his hands) immediately grants it her wish. She lands in moon and is even trying to find grass/plants. Not even a day, and that day is chandra grahaNam. She gets shit scared that whole moon is being eaten away by Rahu and the old jungle on earth is better, because there are escape paths atleast. Moral being known devil is always better. Learn to live in kashTam, bear the pain, start to learn to enjoy every situation. That requires spiritual understanding and AdhyAtmika sAdhana, which comes only from Hindu (bhArateeya) literature and teachings. Subhodayam.
