Good evening AWHA Ltd members, The AWHA Ltd 2014 Assessment - TopicsExpress

Good evening AWHA Ltd members, The AWHA Ltd 2014 Assessment Tour Western Australia leg concluded at Penny Hill Park Stud this afternoon. The quality of horses presented in Western Australia was high, with some delightful international quality horses presented. Some of the days in Western Australia were quite hot, so hopefully a pleasant change will be felt on arrival in Victoria! It was a pleasure to have Joanne and Lynne in Western Australia, leaving a real imprint on everyone who has met them. All horses were well presented with handlers, owners and visitors being exceptional throughout the tour. A real credit to our Western Australian members. The assessors are spending tonight in Perth before heading to Melbourne, Victoria, early tomorrow morning. It is straight off the aeroplane and off to Black Sterling Performance Warmbloods followed by a visit to Sharon Streeters. It is hard to believe that the tour is to conclude on Monday at 5 Star Equestrian which will also see our last seminar with Lynne Crowden being conducted. Remember, if you wish to attend this final seminar, please contact the AWHA Vic Branch President, Bruce Williams, via phone 0418 372 602 to secure your spot and allow for additional catering. Seminars have been well received by all members with fantastic feedback provided. Dont miss out on this wonderful opportunity. The seminar is free to current financial members only. Non-members are not able to attend. If you are not currently a member and wish to attend, you can download a membership form via the AWHA Ltd website (awha.au/memreg.aspx?C=1). Associate membership starts at $90. Payment must be received prior to the day of the seminar. On behalf of the AWHA Ltd Federal Board and its members, thank you to the hard working Western Australia committee, the competitors and the judges for such a successful leg in Western Australia. A special mention also for Catriona Roe, AWHA WA Branch committee member, who has gone above and beyond to drive our assessors long distances around Perth and the southern parts of Western Australia. Catriona has also been taking some photographs at the venues and stud stops which have been added to our tour Facebook gallery. For members who had horses entered at the Western Australia venues (Brookleigh and Narbethong), photographs are now available for viewing via the Eric Lloyd Photography website with member discount packages available: ericlloydphotography/f1059136920 Thank you to Jessie and Eric for their efforts. It is greatly appreciated by all involved. Tour results are being updated daily and can be located on the AWHA Ltd website (awha.au/NewsPageDetail.aspx?ID=118). Dont forget to let me know if your entered horse is for sale so it can be annotated against the results spreadsheet. RESULTS FROM THE WESTERN AUSTRALIA LEG OF THE TOUR Highest % Studbook Led Western Australia: CPE Fuerstenbelle (IIU) by Fürstenball out of Bella Madonna (Imp) - 91.79% Highest % Studbook Ridden Western Australia: Misty Isle Royal Rhapsody by Royal Hit (Imp/Dec) out of Tintarello - 95.50%. Also, some horses currently appear as equal percentages on the results spreadsheet as they are listed to two decimal places only. The scoresheets, where applicable, are calculated to three decimals places. This may differentiate the placings which will be annotated at tour conclusion. Congratulations to all participants! If you have any photographs from your assessments, please forward them to me. Photographs will be added to our assessment tour Facebook gallery (facebook/media/set/?set=a.509247455861821.1073741826.105116062941631&type=3) Lastly, the AWHA Ltd would like both positive and constructive feedback from the tour. If you thought something was done well, or have ideas as to where improvements can be made, please forward them to me via email [email protected] Kind regards, Shanna Antrim.
