Good evening! After beautiful sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s, showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast late tonight in a scattered fashion. No severe weather expected. Cant rule out very small hail with any stronger storms. Tonights possible storms will be elevated and not working off energy from the surface. Not everyone will see a shower or thunderstorm overnight. Those chances increase for everyone right on through the weekend and into the early parts of next week. No widespread severe weather is expected at this time. Locally heavy rain will be the main concern. The best chance for any strong or severe thunderstorms appears to be Monday into Tuesday as a strong area of low pressure approaches from the central Plains.
