Good evening. Attached video by the Solar Dynamics Observatory captures two M-Class solar flares on Friday. The first event, an impulsive M2.0 flare peaking at 14:48 UTC, was centered around region 2130 and was associated with a short duration radio burst (TenFlare) measuring 340 solar flux units (SFU). The second event, a longer duration M1.5 flare peaking at 18:12 UTC, was centered around region 2127. This event was associated with Type II and IV radio emissions, and a coronal mass ejection (CME) that is now visible in the latest STEREO Ahead COR2 imagery. So far it looks to be headed south, but more updates to follow once additional imagery becomes available. solarham
