Good evening .... I come in peace .... As much as many of you continue to overlook the opinions Ive expressed .... I know there isnt a person here in Charleston, regardless of their educational background, that could make a rational argument in favor of the cuts and lack of funding that have taken place in the public school system here in South Carolina over the past 30 years .... There is NO WAY that any rational thinking individual, AGAIN, regardless of their education or lack thereof, that could not for see what has taken place today in terms of Charlestons public education system .... I for one, do not believe in coincidences or matters of pure chance when it comes to anything related to society and/or politics here in Charleston considering the history of this State .... Everything that has happened, and continues to happen, was thought out decades ago ..... This is why South Carolinas forefather refused to let our ancestor learn to read or write .... They knew that we would be so far behind academically that we would result to crime or be willing to accept a low paying job feeling as though its just good to have a job .... I can take you to the water, but I cant make you drink .... Keep on settling .... Thats the attitude thats gonna condemn our childrens future ..... Think about it .... Peace!
