Good evening. The Bible says: There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? (John 6:9 KJV) There were at least 5,000 there that day. There was just too many... And there was so little to work with. Andrew found someone special. Someone that had this ... Box lunch . Ahum... 3 little loaves + 2 small little fishes; about the size of a decent lunch for a small , hungry , boy... Hardly anywhere near enough to make a dent in the appetite of this vast gathering. He couldnt feed them all with his little lunch that day. Andrew, with all the faith of a child, couldnt use that little boys lunch either. Neither could any of the 12 close disciples serving as waiters there this day. None of the 5000 others there could either. It was an overwhelming task That required an extraordinary remedy. There just wasnt any other resource . It appeared hopeless. Does this sound familiar to you? Does it describe by chance any situations you have been exposed to in your experiences? Me Too! But PTL!!! Hallelujah!! There was someone there that found that lunchbox with the morsels so inadequate to all the others, to be plenty !!! No- to be more than plenty - 12 basketfuls after He fed all those present there sitting on that grass that day. Just think what He could do ....with your little lunchbox... Somebody hold my mule while I shout!!! As an ol preacher buddy of mine once said! You need to get your lunchbox. Good night
