Good evening, This is the Town of Hamburg ESU. At this time, the State of Emergency and Travel Advisory still exist in the Town and 2 Villages. All of the roads are open- and work is progressing on snow removal through the business districts in the villages, as well as intersections along the major routes. Please exercise caution while traveling, as visibility is diminished around the snow banks. We are also expecting ponding and pooling water in the roadways, so we would encourage driving at reduced speeds. To ensure safety, we would ask you to stay away from unstable and collapsed structures, as danger still exists in the area surrounding. Garbage pickup will resume in the two villages tomorrow, and for town residents, you will have to check with your refuse vendor to see their schedule. That is all.
