Good evening all!! In true New England fashion, weather turned for the better overnight, so decided to take advantage this afternoon. With it being November, we are weeks away from my last OCR event of 2014 the @spartanrace Fenway sprint! This was an excellent event last year. A great race in a historic ball park, a pretty unique experience. The stadium races are alittle different then the traditional races, there are a lot more exercise focused obstacles on the course as well as some of Spartans traditional obstacles. I decided last night that I should gear the next few weeks of WODs to some of the obstacles I encountered last year at Fenway. Thew together this WOD and got in 5 rounds this afternoon after a mile run (to warmup) and it certainly did the trick. Some carries, burpees, rope climbs and even stair hops that were (in some variation) part of last years Fenway race. Im going to work on putting together some more WODs specifically for Fenway prep over the next few weeks. Should be alot of fun, getting fired up to return to Fenway! #aroo
