Good evening all! Wow what a busy day. I had so much running around to do after work. We ended the night with piano lessons and Menchies. Frozen yogurt makes everything better ha ha. Today I think I heard about five different versions on this storm that is coming. I think they are wrong and we are getting nothing. Luckily tomorrow is only a few easy miles. This was a great weekend for all of you. I hope you had fun. You guys did amazing getting your miles in. Cold temperatures or bad weather will not stop a runner. We know how to get it done. Collectively we did around 70 miles. Great job. I know it is going to get harder as winter comes but keep on doing what you can. You are all doing super. Last winter I put together a little accountability group to keep, everyone on track. Let me know if anyone would be interested in that again and I could put something together for January. Today I received an email with all the details for Sundays Frozen Bonsai half marathon in Central Park. I am looking forward to this race. They have hot chocolate at the finish. How can you top that haha. I also received my confirmation of acceptance Into the Boston Marathon. I am beyond excited to get the opportunity to run this race for s third time. It is just so incredible and I look forward to sharing this journey again with all of you. Over the past few weeks I have seen several people posting about their goals for 2015. That got me thinking about mine and how I want to challenge myself next year. I always set a goal, achieve it, master it and then go to the next level. Over the past five years since I started racing I have really pushed myself and I have accomplished alot. There are still a few things I have not done yet so for next year I want to: 1 Race in Disney which I am doing in January 2.PR my marathon time 3 Do a 24 hour run and achieve that 100 miler 4 Do two marathons that I have never done 5 Get stronger and improve my speed I am on track to accomplish these things and will add more as I check each goal off. I always have this need to further test my limits and see how far I can go. I already know I can go pretty far ha ha. There is always room to do better which is what I want to do. Today I did Turbo fat blaster, my core work and slim in 6. Next on the agenda is some much needed sleep. Have a super evening!
