Good evening and Happy New Year, Fr. Ray Strawser went home to the Lord this morning. I spoke with his daughter Kathy this afternoon, the actual arrangements were yet to be made although the family is planning on having a viewing Friday and the Funeral Saturday. I will pass on the arrangements once they are complete. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon them. Fr. Ray and EJ lived with Fr. John and Kathy Worgul. Their address for those wishing to send condolences is: The Rev. & Mrs. John Worgul 1240 Pinch Valley Road Westminster, MD 21158-2946 Please pray for Hannah Grace, an 18 month old suffered severe oxygen shortage with an upper respiratory infection. Last night her heart arrested and she is currently on a heart/lung bypass machine. Her heart is damaged and they believe she will need a heart transplant. Please pray for this little girl and for her family. Theresa Dirndorfer fell down the stairs at her home late last night or early this morning and fractured her hip. She was scheduled for surgery at 4 this afternoon. Please pray for a quick and rapid recovery. Theresa also suffers from dementia. Pray also for her husband Hans and for their family. Theresa is John Dirndorfer’s mother. Please pray for Jean-Rene and Jean Goetze; both are suffering from the flu despite flu shots. Jean-Rene also has pneumonia . As you may recall, Jean-Rene suffered from leukemia and was treated for it a year ago. In November he had another bone marrow biopsy and was still NED. However, is immune system is not normal yet and this has hit hard. Please pray for a full recovery for both. As for our children, Bryce (2) is scheduled for surgery on Friday morning at 7:30. His tumor is still growing, enough so his mother can distinguish it despite treatments thus far. During surgery a piece of the rhabdoid tumor will be taken for cancer research. Please pray for Bryce and for Kristy and Nathan and his sister Klaire. Teeja’s (5) mom wrote a couple of hours ago that when they arrived at All Children’s Hospital 3 weeks ago, the doctors predicted that Teeja had 2 days at best to live. Teeja is still fighting. Please continue your prayers for a miracle; it will take a major one. Many blessings to all of you. May your new year be a healthy one. For all the families of the 30 children we are following, may this new year see a return to health and normalcy for your children. We continue to lift all of you in prayer. Love in Christ Jesus, Dennis
