Good evening and Happy New Year! Today Scott got up and walked around the nurses station 4 times and got up across the room several times. Hes doing great on his liquid diet and maybe moving into a new diet tomorrow. His color and sense of humor are back and his pain level has remained low with just a little pain med. The nurses are very impressed so far, Dr Davoren was impressed as well. His bowels sound more awake than they did this morning so that is progress as well. Im not leaving him hardly, Im just scared to leave and get a call something is wrong and not be here. When Im here Im not worrying about him so by his side I stay. Judy is bringing the kids up in the morning as I really cant bear not seeing them for another day either. Excited to hug and snuggle with them while being here for Scott too :-) The boys are amazing and I love them more each day and just absolutely so grateful to God for the gift of this family. Visits: I please ask that you check with me (the room police) before visiting. I know tomorrow morning is full with our kids visiting and mom so I ask for no visitors then. Id be up for a couple visitors maybe after 2pm as I want Scott to rest maybe from 12-2. Just check with me please and remember if youve been exposed to sick people or have been sick, we have plenty of time in the future to spend time with you, Scotts health is more important than a brief visit at this time.
