Good evening and also Good Morning: Tomorrow, Tues Dec 30 is the day I take my precious Kent to get his scans done to see if further treatment is needed. The test takes about 2 hours and its going to be a long morning. The waiting is always the hardest ..he has to fast, they are hooking him up to an IV and he will get a radioactive dye from the mid neck down to the back of his knees. He cannot talk and has to lay still for 1 hour. Then the scans will start..we wont get the news until later tomorrow night or Wed or as late as Fri. Ill be sure to let you all know as soon as we get results. We have prayed tonight for whatever God thinks is best. Of course our hope is that no further treatment will be needed, but if God thinks that radiation will be best to prevent its return, we are ok with that. It just means another 6 weeks of inconvenience but thats nothing in the long haul. Please keep Kent in your prayers and ask God for whatever is Best. We definitely want the Best!! Our trust and faith is there and its ok whichever way it goes. I just want him to be well with this darn crud never to return again!! He needs to be with me for a very long time. Im counting on it. Thank you all for your prayers, support and love. Kent claims over and over again that he would not be in as good a condition as he is without your prayers. He is so thankful to all of you. We have had a lovely Christmas with family and friends. He started feeling pretty good the day before Christmas Eve. He was thrilled that he did not have to get another treatment this past week and no more shots. It allowed him to relax, get some rest and was able to enjoy some really fun times such as christmas eve at my brothers house and then on to his Dads on Christmas Day. I was so thankful and felt so blessed. Again, I was aware of Gods timing..it was perfect! I promise to let you know results as soon as we get them. In the meantime, here is wishing all of you a blessed New Years -stay safe, stay warm, dont drink and drive..just know that 2015 will be a good year.. Love to all. J & K
