Good evening and once again happy new year! We have an incredible bunch of dogs with us right now. All adoptable and all are so loving and in need of forever companionship. Were going to be featuring as many as possible over the next few days. Please share these posts/videos/pics with your friends and family in hopes that we can find all of these very special dogs a home. In this video we have Precious, who is our grande dame of the kennel, and little Fritz, who is our young fella. Precious came to us out of a neglect situation whereby she was left to fend for herself last winter, outside in the backyard, without food. Since then, she has really become a wonderfully special dog to blue sky. She is a senior, however, she has no idea. She is as spry, perky, and curious as any of the dogs in a kennel. Because she is a senior, we are considering her a special-needs dog, which means her adoption fee is waived. We do this for special-needs dogs when we assume there may be additional costs that go into caring for the dog upon adoption. However, make no mistake this dog has got a lot of love and life to share with a lucky person or people who are willing to overlook her age. Shes doing well with other dogs, knows basic commands, is crate trained, is house trained, and absolutely loves to go for walks and jogs. Fritz is the black and tan cutie-pie. Hes a basset mix. He gets along with all other dogs, people, and kids. Hes wonderful. Hes still a pup, but is completely crate trained. He does beautifully on leash, although given his short legs, he prefers shorter walks. He responds to his name, is a good listener, and just a complete joy to be around.
