Good evening everyone!! First, I wanted to thank everyone for your positive messages, care and supportive messages over the past few days!! It was difficult being away from Epic E, but it was even more difficult being sick at the hospital, so it was for the best! Eleanor is doing alright!! I say alright because she isnt necessarily sick or anything, she just isnt her usual happy self. She was only allowed to nurse today for the first time since last Thursday so that had been tough!!! She had two drains inserted on Saturday morning that resulted in 220ccs draining immediately and a bit is still draining. It is potentially fluid that would normally weep after surgery that gets resorbed by the body, only Eleanors body had created a wall around the fluid! We just found out tonight that the fluid was infected but she has already been on antibiotics for it so shes good to go :-) The good news is that she was on three different antibiotics and two of them can be stopped now because they dont target this specific bacteria. She also had two swabs done in her mouth last Thursday because she had a sore in her mouth and one of them came back positive for enterovirus, but NOT the same one as the outbreaks.. this one could possibly be hand, foot and mouth disease, but we arent certain! Either way, shes on the mend!! :-) We want to say a great big thank you to Grandmaman Jeannette Deno who headed home on Saturday! For being here for us all the time, for cooking, cleaning and keeping our big girl safe and happy thank you so so much!!! Words really cant express our thanks!! Now we cant wait to celebrate at your place sometime in the near future!!! :-) We also want to say thanks to LeighAnn And-Angela for keeping Ruby this weekend!! She had a wonderful time and Im so glad Kynan and Finley got to meet A. LeBoo!!! Hes so magical!!! We also received some very sweet books from Angela Stone in the mail today!!! I read the message that went with it to Ruby and she is very excited to meet this Paddington Bear who is on his way to Toronto!!! Thats the first time Ive read Paddington also!! Hes awfully cute!! For now we are going to try to snuggle up and get some sleep!! Thank you so much to Grandma Wheeler for coming up to stay with Ruby now!! Hopefully youre okay after my super quick introduction to RMH living, but Im sure if you run into any problems Ruby well be able to guide you :-) Thank you again to everyone for your continued support among Epic Es quest!!!
