Good evening everyone! Im writing this post with a belly full of smores!!! They were so delicious and a perfect end to our night!!! This morning we made a quick trip to Winners to grab a toy stroller for Rubys baby, Mouth, so she could be just like Maman and Eleanor :) She has taken it everywhere with her since :) Today we had some wonderful visitors!!!! Lynn Lavallee came with wonderful thank you baskets for RMH and HSC!!! Thank you so much for such a thoughtful gesture!!! We appreciate it so much!!!!! I know the staff and volunteers will too!!! :) Thank you also for clearing E!! Hopefully tonight will be a better night :) although we are quite sure we see at least two new teeth so that could explain some irritability!!! Carolyn Valade-Scott, Tim, Tyson and Carter came to visit also!!! We had such a great time playing at the park and hangin out with you guys!!! So glad the boys got to meet Epic E and shes no longer just a face they see on a screen!! :) Ruby told us after that she wanted her little kid friends to come back to play :) Thanks for the outfits for the girls too!! Very cute!!!! Tonight we went for another walk before supper and then had a BBQ with bacon wrapped chicken kabobs!!! Delicious!!! :) We then had so much fun making smores!!! Ruby and I were so excited for them we sat watching them in the oven until they were ready :) Im actually not sure who was more excited!! :P Its been pretty amazing for me as a mom to watch Ruby here at the RMH. Today she met a little boy who is fighting his second battle with leukaemia (at age 5), who has also had brain surgery, leaving a large scar. She doesnt look at him any differently than any other little boys she has met and plays with him just the same :) She has also told me that V is such a beautiful girl!! (V is a young girl, about 9, who is also battling cancer and has lost all her hair). Im sure most children would be the same, but seeing it firsthand and watching her interact with these amazing children, it fills me with such pride!!!
