Good evening everyone! Noah and I had an incredible day in Hershey. It was freezing cold but the smile on Noahs face all day long warmed my heart. That place makes him so happy and it was just so much fun to be with him. I could not think of a better way to end the year. I am sure 2015 will be filled with many more Hershey memories! It looks like 2014 was a year of injuries for alot of you. I am so sorry about that. Being a runner and being hurt is the worst. I personally run any way but it is much more pleasant to run when you are not hurt. I did see that many of you are mended or on the mend and back to running lightly which is awesome news. I hope this year if filled with great runs and no injuries. I did not get hurt this year but I battled with a pulled hamstring which led to glute issues fir a great part of the year. Towards the end of the year I saw huge improvements and less pain so I hope the trend continues into the new year. That is the goal. I was reflecting on this past year today and it really was a good one. I had my health, my kids were all super, in great health and doing well with life in general, my running was amazing and I had my best year ever with races. All was really very good. I did have one slight snag in the year when I lost the job that I had for 11 years. I got a new job actually before I lost the old one which is awesome but it is less hours which meant less money. I am not going to lie, the second part of the year was hard but as always it has all worked out and I am hoping it gets even better in the new year. I am looking forward to lots of fun and adventures in 2015! Today I did Turbo fat blaster, slim in 6, and core work. Time to unpack and then go to sleep. I have an eight mile run in the morning to kick off the new year. Have an awesome night and Happy New Year!
